A Chair-Friendly Pedal Resistance Band Workout for the Whole Body
A pedal resistance band can make a short home workout feel organized instead of improvised. The foot pedals create a steady anchor, the handles are easy to hold, and the connected tubes let you move from seated exercises to standing work without changing equipment.
This routine is designed around the LumaHvn® 6-Tube Pedal Resistance Band with Handles. Use a sturdy chair without wheels, move slowly, and keep the tubes away from sharp edges.

Before you begin
Sit tall near the front of the chair and place one foot securely in each pedal. Start with light tension. The band should feel controlled at the beginning and end of every repetition rather than snapping loose.
1. Seated row
Extend your legs slightly, hold the handles with your palms facing inward, and draw your elbows toward your ribs. Pause briefly, then return with control. Keep your shoulders down instead of shrugging.
2. Seated biceps curl
Keep the pedals under your feet and your elbows close to your sides. Curl the handles upward without leaning back. This is a useful way to practice steady resistance through the full range.

3. Seated leg press
Hold the handles near your torso and press both feet forward until your knees are comfortably extended. Do not lock the knees. Return slowly so the tubes stay under tension.
4. Standing shoulder press
Stand on the pedals with your feet about hip-width apart. Bring the handles to shoulder height and press upward. If the band feels too strong, shorten the range or return to a seated press.
5. Supported squat
Stand on the pedals and hold the handles near your shoulders. Sit your hips back toward the chair, lightly touch the seat, and stand again. Keep your knees tracking in the same direction as your toes.

A simple schedule
Complete 8 to 12 controlled repetitions of each movement. Rest for 30 to 60 seconds, then repeat the circuit once or twice. Two or three short sessions per week are a practical starting point.
Stop if a tube, handle, or pedal shows damage. If you have an injury or a condition that affects exercise, ask a qualified professional which movements are appropriate for you.
